Laura boasts over 15 years of experience in the transactional commercial, regulatory, and industrial and intellectual property domains. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in guiding both national and multinational clients through cross-border transactions, offering expertise in advising, drafting, and negotiating agreements spanning various sectors such as technology, licensing, franchising, distribution, confidentiality, security, publishing, and advertising, among others.

Her proficiency extends to counseling in diverse regulatory areas, including entertainment, pharmaceuticals, data privacy, and technology. Laura’s extensive experience also encompasses the protection, registration, and defense of industrial and intellectual property matters, covering trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyrights, as well as intangible rights like know-how, trade secrets, confidentiality issues, and domain names.

In a noteworthy two-year role, Laura played a pivotal part in the success of an international electronic payment software corporation during a secondment program for its Mexican subsidiary. In this capacity, she effectively managed a range of commercial contractual matters, involving the drafting and negotiation of software and hardware sales and licensing agreements, maintenance and support services agreements, lease agreements, NDAs, settlements, and provided general assistance on labor, social security, and criminal matters related to the daily operation of the company, among other corporate responsibilities.

Since 2020, Laura has been contributing her skills to the Mexican division of one of the world’s most recognized social media companies. In this role, she coordinates the Monetization and Ads Policy divisions, undertaking tasks such as revising and negotiating multiple agreements, including advertising, regulatory, data privacy, confidentiality, sponsorship, cooperation, creative assets development, on-boarding processes, and more. Additionally, she collaborates with LATAM colleagues, providing regulatory legal assessments for this influential social media company.

Currently, Laura is deeply engaged in providing daily legal assistance to one of the most renowned streaming companies globally. In this role, she offers her expertise in general commercial and transactional matters, including navigating advertising and privacy matters.
