Rafael is an entrepreneur and cross-border attorney licensed to practice law in California and Mexico,
specialized in banking & finance, ESG Capital, mergers & acquisitions, tax advisory and dispute resolution, real
estate and corporate law, with substantial experience in the creation and operation of Fintech and finance
corporations in Mexico and the United States. He has acted as CEO of financial institutions both, in Mexico
and in the United States.
In addition to having law degrees from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and the University
of California, Berkeley, and being a member of the California State Bar, Mr. Gómez has post graduate studies
in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and IPADE Business School.
He has been an associate at local and global law firms, partner at a global firm and has acted as in-house
counsel for companies in the financial sector.
In his free time, Rafael enjoys playing drums, mentoring entrepreneurs and attorneys, teaching about
the law and restoring classic German automobiles. He is a published law articles author and is currently writing
a book.
